Maxis insists that everyone who registers have a handle. So I picked White Phoenix. I’m not sure if it was my first choice, but I’m stuck with it now. 8-) I have chosen the above title as I have nothing of any real value to contribute to the Sims community—at least not yet. I have dreams, but until I am good enough at implementing them they will not appear on my site. Hopefully before all interest in Sims 1 dies out completely. From what I have seen though on the Sims Resource and Maxis Sims 1 BBS, it doesn’t seem likely.
If you have seen any of my posts (usually signed as “Rod”) at the Maxis BBS and other places, you may have an inkling of what I might be planning and what might appear on my Sims 1 section. However, here is the basics. I have many interests (perhaps more than is for my own good) and I tend to have them crossover. The Sims is a perfect nexus for many of them: Pokémon, Star Trek, Lost in Space, the Harry Potter series, Doctor Who, Oz, and other fiction. Nature, history, social interactions, cats, other cultures, travel, . . . and tinkering with games. 8-)
So here are the different sections you will be taken to if you wish to check them out:

As I have discovered that I have more items than I thought, I have divided them into separate pages: Floors and Walls , Houses , Objects , and
People .
These are files that may provide some interest if not use. So far, I only have one though.
These are things that I have thought would be neat to have in the game. I am still learning and practising, and I really do not have much spare time, but perhaps eventually I will turn these ideas into downloads that everyone may enjoy. On the other hand, if someone else who is more proficient were to create these, I would not be upset. Nor would I stop creating my own version, as I still wish to learn to do it on my own and the other artists concept might still not be what I had in mind. Variety is the spice of life.
These are places that I have been to in the past year. Some are pay sites. Since money is tight I usually rotate these by the month according to budget and what I need or want at the time. If for some reason you wish to contact me, but don’t want to email me, you will have better luck at the Yahoo! Groups, one of the EZBoards, or the Maxis (US) BBS.
I really do enjoy the Sims. Collecting skins, characters, families, objects, experimenting with how things work. Maybe someday I’ll actually play the game. 8-)
